We will investigate all complaints and aim to resolve the matter as soon as possible. In circumstances when a complaint is not resolved within 24 hours we will arrange to meet and discuss the complaint with the complainant. We will agree how the complaint will be handled and how long the process will be expected to take before as resolution can be found.
It is important that you make your complaint as soon as possible after the event as usually we can only investigate complaints that are made within 12 months of the event occurring. This time limit can be waived if there are good reasons that you could not complain earlier.
If your complaint is related to one of the NHS services that this pharmacy provides and you are not satisfied with the local resolution of your complaint then you are welcome to ask the local Primary Care Trust to consider taking your complaint to Independent Review.
