Terms and Conditions of Mail Order Private Prescription Service
- By requesting this service from Wringtons Ltd you agree to these terms and conditions as set out below.
- The service is wholly private service offered by Wringtons Ltd and is not funded in any way by the NHS or other government agency.
- The service is subject to change or discontinuation at any time at the discretion of Wringtons Ltd although suitable notice (as deemed by Wringtons Ltd) will be provided when possible.
- An agreement to dispense a prescription is not a guarantee of delivery. Every effort will be made to complete the dispensing and delivery of the medication however if for reasons beyond Wringtons Ltd control the supply is not possible then a full refund will be provided to the customer.
- Once a medication has been ordered no refunds can be provided.
- Once a medication has left the pharmacy the item can not be returned and must be disposed of safely by the patient, if no longer required.
- The original paper copy of the prescription will be required by the pharmacy before the medication can be despatched. Wringtons Ltd can take no responsibility for delays in deliveries as a result of failure of the prescriptions arriving at the pharmacy for dispensing in time.
- The pharmacist may, if they deem it clinically appropriate, request further information from the patient regarding their other current medication and medical conditions before dispensing the prescription. As a result of this additional information, the pharmacist may decide that it is professionally inappropriate to dispense the prescription. In these scenario the prescription will be returned to the patient and a refund provided.
- The private prescription must be from a UK registered Doctor with full prescribing rights as recognised by the appropriate authorities within the UK.
- The registration status of the prescriber and authenticity of the prescription will be checked by the pharmacy before the dispensing of a prescription
- The prescriber may be contacted by the pharmacy to confirm the authenticity of the prescription
- Wringtons Ltd reserves the right to refuse to supply medication to patients for any professional or ethical reason whatsoever
- All items are sent by Royal Mail Special Next Day Delivery and a signature will be required on delivery.
- Every effort will be made to ensure that delivery of medications will be within the time scales quoted at the time of ordering.
- Wringtons Ltd can not take any responsibility for damage or distress caused to the customer by delays in the delivery of the medication beyond Wringtons Ltd's control.
- Controlled Drugs and items that require storage in a refrigerator are not available via this service
- Wringtons Ltd retains the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.

All of our healthcare assistants are properly trained using accredited courses so they can advice you about treating common ailments.
